Abstraxt - Motion Graphics
A animation created for 'Abstraxt London' a electronic music event in East London. This animation was played as the visuals for the duration of the event. Working in collaboration with Greg Owen, an Illustrator based in London, we produced this 30 minute looping video to be played as visuals at Abstraxt's events. Greg dealt with the Illustration and I dealt with the motion and movement, animating each his drawings to bring them to life.
We started our process writing short stories to start to build ideas for our outcome, before taking this through to storyboarding and initial sketches. Our story follows a BMX rider making his way to Abstraxt nightclub travelling through 4 different destinations on his journey and encountering a variety of different people and places.
